The MDL renovations process is designed to ensure a hassle-free service that guarantees your absolute satisfaction. When you ask MDL to take on your remodeling project in Oakville, Burlington and Missssauga here’s what you can expect:

• First consultation in your home
  Your MDL representative will meet with you in your home to discuss your renovation plans. Our renovations specialist will encourage you to talk about your design ideas as well as gain an insight into how you intend to use the space. Any questions and/or concerns you may have will be answered. We can arrange a visit for you to our model or show home, so that you can see the creative and quality workmanship we provide.
• Initial proposal based on an analysis of your requirements
  After a careful analysis of your needs, room specifications and style we will provide you with a preliminary design proposal and if possible at that time, a written quote for your project. Our plans are built around your family’s requirements and budget.
• Detailed contract and proposal acceptance
  Once you have reviewed our proposal and decided to hire MDL Designs Ltd., we will draw up a detailed contract which will also include a mutually agreed payment schedule. We are committed to completing your project on time hence we provide a work schedule with targeted start and finish dates.
• Project planning guide
  Our project planning guide is a handy reference for an organized renovations process. It will give you an idea of what to expect during your remodeling. To help make your renovation work easier we also provide you with a list of the decisions you need to make in advance giving you as much lead-time as possible.
• Permit applications
  If your project involves structural adjustments and room additions, a final design will be drawn up for planning and permit applications (if required). Some designs will be hand rendered by our creative team to provide a more detailed visual concept of your project.
• Permit approvals
  We begin work as soon as we receive the building permits and construction approval. We will always follow up with your permit approval status, keeping our targeted start date in mind.
• Design and detail decisions
  At MDL we believe in an efficient and timely execution of your renovations project. While your project is being planned and approved we will work with you in choosing colours, fixtures, trim, hardware and thinking through any other details that need to be addressed. Our experienced team can guide you through the entire process. Materials are then ordered and a schedule for the different trades involved in your renovation project is produced.
• Site walk through
  Before the construction of your project starts, we will perform a walk through of the site layout with you. Our team will go over the plans again and explain what will happen during the renovation process.
• Organized construction and seamless execution
  MDL prides itself in running a clean, well organized operation. Whether your project involves a simple change in layout, demolition or construction, the site is inspected by municipal authorities and supervised by us. We ensure that the site is clean and organized daily. We diligently strive to maintain our schedule and to perform our work in an unobtrusive manner. We organize regular client meetings and are always on hand to address any questions and concerns you may have during the construction process. Our team maintains a strict work schedule to ensure work is completed on time.
• Client inspection
  Once we have completed your job to the best of our ability, we will ask you to perform your own inspection and list any items that you feel requires our attention. We attend to repairs immediately. For your new appliances and fixtures etc. we provide a use and care manual as well as a walkthrough on how to use them.
• Completion
  Once your kitchen has been renovated to your satisfaction, we will deem your project to be completed. You will now have a kitchen you can enjoy using daily as well as to proudly entertain your guests in.
• Guarantees and follow up service
  MDL Designs Ltd. guarantees its workmanship and will return to make adjustments and touch up work for a period of 1 full year. Structural work and more major items are guaranteed for 2 years. Our prompt and efficient service personnel are the strength of our renovations team.
